journal prompts: to gently reflect '25 and invite '26
a guided journaling process built to support you through integrating the new year
hi my beautiful community!! i know so many of you are excited to have some prompts to guide you through the transition from 2025 to 2026. ask and you shall receive<3 there’s a reason i wanted you to have this a week into the year… i want us to remember that we have TIME. we have time to breathe, reflect, integrate, and dream. it doesn’t all have to happen on the first of the year, or even the first quarter of the year. breathe deep and imagine yourself opening up space within you to stretch “time” a bit. be gentle. this is the perfect way to feel like you’ve embraced the transition, without the rat-race of extreme productivity.
i love you so much.
but you know that already.
prompts to reflect on 2025:
“when I think of a word to capture 2025 it is…”
think of an accomplishment from the year (there is no too small or too big) and reflect for a bit on how it inspired you and changed you
what are 3 things that brought you joy over the year?
have you changed from who you were january 2025? how so?
what did you lose, release, or outgrow in 2025?
what was hard this year that you survived anyway?
where did you show up for yourself even when it was uncomfortable?
what are you most proud of yourself for (from 2025)?
what is one thing you’d like to leave behind in 2025?
what would your younger self be proud of you for?
what part of you worked the hardest to keep you going this year?
prompts to gently invite 2026:
think of 2026 as a continuation, an evolution; what parts of you will you be watering and giving sunlight?
what do you want to bring with you from 2025 into 2026?
is there a word that just feels incredible for this year? write it down.
what do you want to feel in 2026? (not do. feel.)
what would make this year feel softer, safer, or more supported?
3 dreams for the year, write them here.
look over the last question. did you hold back at all? dream bigger.
write 3 things that you are excited to enjoy this year.
now gently pick a few goals, jot them down here.
finish with a letter to yourself. a supportive, encouraging letter.
When you finish, place one hand on your heart and one on your belly. Read your letter slowly. Let it be received.
then, sitting quietly…
Light a candle, or imagine one, and let this page be a threshold between who you were and who you’re becoming.
In a few days I’m sharing a Guided New Year Ritual for my paid subscribers… a slow, magical, grounding space to close the chapter of 2025 and consciously step into 2026.
It will include deeper journaling prompts, gentle rituals, meditations, vision-boarding guides, intention-setting, and a way to actually feel yourself crossing into a new season — not just thinking about it.
If you’d like to receive it, you can join the paid circle now so it’s waiting for you when it arrives. ✨
If you’re reading this with a quiet ache in your chest… the feeling that you want to begin, but not in the way the world is shouting at you, I hope you know how deeply valid that is.
Winter does not rush.
Neither should you.
This year doesn’t need to be conquered.
So if you’re craving a place to reflect, to dream, to move slowly and lovingly toward the life you’re becoming… I made something for you.
My Self-Love & Manifestation Planner + my Guided Journal: Becoming Your Own Bestfriend were created as a soft home for this exact season — a place to hold your vision boards, scripting pages, moon-lit goals, and gentle daily rituals. Not a productivity machine, but a cozy, magical space to sit with your dreams and let them unfold in their own time.
It’s filled with prompts, practices, and room to write your way into the year, to nurture what you’re calling in instead of forcing it.
A quiet companion for winter.
A little altar for your intentions.
You don’t have to become everything all at once.
You just have to stay present with yourself, and let the unfolding happen naturally.
And that, truly, is where every beautiful year begins. 🌙

I always look forward to these journal prompts 🩷
